Support the CCP and Australian photography by getting involved in our amazing 2024 Fundraising activities.

As part of our need to constantly generate funds to support artists, commissions, production, exhibitions and programs we have teamed up with artists, publishers, industry experts, and our supporters to offer a range of raffle prizes, affordable prints, limited edition framed photographs, and portfolio reviews.

We have three fundraising events happening in parallel in 2024:

Raffle
12th June – 13th July

Fundraiser Exhibition
28th June – 13th July

Online Affordable Print Sale
28th June – 28th July

The different elements offer many ways to support CCP. Please do get involved and support CCP. All funds raised go directly to supporting our artists, our exhibitions and programs.

CCP remains Australia’s ONLY independent photographic institution dedicated to celebrating and promoting photography and lens based practices. We are the lifeblood of photography in Australia. CCP is the place where emerging photographers have their first major show and brings together the photography community for events, from book launches, artist talks to major exhibitions. We host five to seven exhibitions annually, and run a range of accessible and educational programming to build and support the creative community. At CCP we host ambitious exhibitions and programming, uniting the best in international and Australian photographic storytelling.

Since 1986 our focus has been on building a community to sustain and support photography and related practices in Australia. We champion diverse stories by emerging and established photographers and artists, including a focus on contemporary work by First Nations photographers and artists as central to our understandings of Australia’s history and current society, in addition to broadening our audiences across Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, the Asia-Pacific region, and globally. These aims are reinforced by a vibrant exhibition and public engagement program, the majority of which are freely accessible. The CCP has never been more vital to the cultural landscape of Australia.

In recent years we have welcomed an audience of over 100,000 annually, annually displaying the work of over 800 photographers, and have presented important exhibitions by among the exciting new, emerging and important contemporary practitioners of photography in Australia and abroad.
