The Centre for Contemporary Photography (CCP) and Perimeter Editions are excited to announce CCP.PE.ZINE, a new collaborative publishing initiative dedicated to providing a platform for emerging photographic artists to exhibit their work in an accessible zine format. Each zine in the series – launched periodically in pairs – focuses on a single body of work by artists selected by the CCP.

The second zine in the series – Corrosion by Nik Ranepura – is available now via the Perimeter Books website.

CCP.PE.ZINE002 Nik Ranepura – Corrosion

‘Corrosion’ presents a diaristic collection of images that documents elements of the subcultures and communities that I am immersed in, in my home of Naarm / Melbourne. The zine offers an intimate perspective on friends, collaborators, memories and motifs. I hope to create an imagined space for viewers to reside in, that is tinged with the city’s same fragile grey. – Nik Ranepura

Nik Ranepura is a photographic-based artist based in Naarm / Melbourne, Australia. He is self-taught and works exclusively with 35mm and 120mm film. His work centres on documenting elements from his surroundings and the subcultures he interacts with.

28 pages, 14.8 x 21 cm, saddle-stitched zine, Centre for Contemporary Photography (CCP) x Perimeter Editions (Naarm / Melbourne).
