VIP Exhibition Preview: ‘Walking Through the Darkness’

We warmly welcome our members and donors to join us for an exclusive preview of Walking Through the Darkness. Prior to the official exhibition opening at 6pm we invite you to mingle with the artists, enjoy a guided tour from CCP Director Daniel Boetker-Smith and Curator Catlin Langford, and indulge in a glass of wine.

Photography is often thought of as the medium of light; however, in truth, photography relies on darkness and light in equal measures. Walking Through the Darkness embraces the space between darkness and light, where our understandings are only ever fragmented and partial, celebrating the potential of photography to bring stories out of the darkness and into the light.
