CCP x Melbourne Art Book Fair: Photobook Editing, Sequencing and Construction

Join industry experts and Australia’s leading photobook designers and makers for an interactive discussion on photobook editing, sequencing and construction. This event will provide participants with an overview of all stages of design and production, and offer a behind-the-scenes insight into the process of making a photobook.

Confirmed speakers: Ying Ang, Narelle Brewer, Justine Ellis, Kim Mumm Hansen & Žiga Testen. Panel will be chaired by CCP Director Daniel Boetker-Smith

Ying Ang is a photographer and author with extensive exhibition and publishing history. She is the Director of Le Space Gallery in Naarm.

With expertise in branding, art direction and publication design, Narelle works as a Design Director at Melbourne studio Round. She also partners with Perimeter Bureau, for which she has designed numerous artist and photobooks.

Kim Mumm Hansen is a Danish graphic designer, living and working in Melbourne, Australia. Kim has worked locally for five years, in a collaborative realm, mostly within and around the arts; artists, galleries and educational institutions. This results predominantly in the production of publications, posters, websites and visual identities.

Žiga Testen is a Melbourne/Naarm based designer and educator specialising in typography and publication design. Since 2013 his eponymous studio has prioritised work for contemporary art and culture in close collaboration with artists, curators and cultural organisations.
