Cyanotype Workshop

Presented in partnership with

Continuing themes of the current CCP exhibition States of Disruption, join artist and educator Isabella Capezio for this 6-hour cyanotype workshop.

This hands-on workshop will focus on the uses of the cyanotype process. During the workshop participants will produce cyanotypes via a range of camera-less methods using objects and pre-prepared images on fabric and paper.

Isabella will provide detailed demonstrations and one-to-one guidance, as well as discuss a range of applications of the process, some background and themes, and will look at artists who use cyanotypes to disrupt traditional forms of photographic practices. At the end of the workshop, participants will have the skills and knowledge to continue producing their own cyanotypes.

Isabella Capezio teaches alternative photographic processes at RMIT University. Isabella’s current research explores queering forms of photography through manual processes, experimentation and play.

Before the workshop, participants will receive further information, including what to bring along on the day.
