Architecture Makes Us: Sound Walk with Sonia Leber and David Chesworth

Following the success of Sonia Leber and David Chesworth’s Sound Walk at Melbourne Art Fair to coincide with Melbourne Art Week, the artists will be presenting two additional Sound Walks at CCP.

Each sound walk will begin at the Centre for Contemporary Photography, tour the local environs, and culminate in a discussion of the experience of sound as an elusive, yet integral component of many time-based, new media artworks.

As artists with a rigorous engagement with sound, Leber and Chesworth are ideal guides in this experience of absorbing and understanding sound on a new level.
The program coincides with Architecture Makes Us, a major mid-career survey exhibition of Leber and Chesworth on at CCP until September 9, 2018.
