The Bakehouse Project: CCP takeover

CCP has collaborated with legendary Melbourne music recording studios Bakehouse, on their public art project. Heavily trafficked street frontage billboards on busy Hoddle St, Richmond will feature 6 artists from our exhibition and education program with their images visible to the public for 2 weeks each.

Featured artists:
September 24–October 8, 2019; Matthew Stanton and Abigail Varney, to coincide with the exhibition 23° and Rising.

October 15 —29, 2019; Sarah Pannell, to coincide with the CCP Workshop Documenting the Everyday.

November 5—19, 2019; Kate Robertson, to coincide with the CCP Workshop Experimental Cameraless Photography

26 November—10 December, 2019; Shea Kirk. In 2019 Shea had a solo exhibition, Vantages, at CCP and also ran the CCP Workshop Slowing down: large format photography in July and August this year.

17—31 December, 2019; Ruth Maddison. CCP is hosting a survey exhibition of senior artist Ruth Maddison's practice in early 2021, with the development of a major new work assisted by the Australian Government through the Australia Council, its arts funding and advisory body.
