The 1999 RMIT Media Arts Graduate Exhibition presents a group of young artists immersed in the confluence of their contemporary existence. Their diverse artistic interests and concerns range from corporeal and spatial investigations through to issues of sexuality, identity and the fragility of memory. These young artists engage with and reflect all manner of contemporary and historical image technologies ? video and digital media as well as silver-based photography. The result is an eclectic yet perversely connected collection of fragmentary interactions and observations.
