Bipedal. adjective, zoology, (of an animal), using only two legs for walking. The ability to use only two legs for walking to be bipedal is an aspect that defines man. Man Walking/Man Running is a video piece that attempts to define a singular 'everyman' through restaging a variety of bipedal actions undertaken by men in their day-to-day lives. The work of Eadweard Muybridge and Jeff Wall collide in the moving image, creating an event melded from being, memory and re-enactment. Man stands on two legs, what's next? Man Walking/Man Running.
