Inbtween was a collaborative art project that used the web in collaboration with a video installation. A web page allowed remote net users to upload their own images and sound. These could then be sent to the computer in the 'local' installation. Then, when a gallery viewer walked in front of the e-Media computer monitor, their real-time image was superimposed onto the image on the monitor screen. A unique interface, comprised of wooden buttons, provided gallery viewers with the opportunity to rearrange the image before it is sent back out to the web.
Inbtween was a collaboration between Grant Corbishley, Podmedia and 3D Creative. Their focus has been to 'reprogram space to become the space inbtween'.
