Whether a subject is banal or remarkable, conventional fine print photography imparts a kind of greatness. But in Iconoclastic Plastic all the exhibitors use plastic cameras to undermine the iconic status of their subjects which range from plastic wrap to the excesses of gambling. The breakdown of these icons is expressed through the imperfections of the camera. The exhibition includes students of Photography Studies College and their mentors and offers a unique perspective on the work of artists at varying stages of their development.
