Space has lost much of its contextual function as the ground for the continuities of time, movement, and event. Space is now more often a 'text' than a 'context'.
Is it possible for a photograph to portray an extended spatial dimension that exists beyond the time freeze of the actual photograph? This exhibition explores the (con)text of sexual acts and the compaction of language that takes place en passant against background images where supposed '(in)actions' take place. Spaces exist within these images which have a no-time. Contextual environments of infinite duration, they transcend the physical speed of the camera, the body, and of language.
