In Conversation: The Huxleys and Natalie King

Join Curator Natalie King in conversation with collaborative artists Will and Garrett Huxley as they discuss their latest presentation Places of Worship. Talking to their photographic and larger artistic practice in relation to their performative works, this conversation will also explore their identity as queer people growing up in suburban homogenous and conditioned places, and how this exhibition sees them cast themselves as exquisite outsiders, isolated and ornate, and existing on the fringes of society.

Natalie King OAM is a Professor of Visual Arts at the VCA, University of Melbourne and Curator of Yuki Kihara, Aotearoa New Zealand at the 59th Venice Biennale 2022.
