As of Friday 29 October, Victoria officially moves to 'Phase C' of the Roadmap to Reopening, meaning, amongst many other exciting developments, that metropolitan Melbourne galleries can reopen.
We're excited to announce that this means we'll be opening with our current exhibition Fertile Ground from 11 am, Saturday 30 October.
The health and safety of our community is always our priority. With this reopening, we're maintaining some familiar safety precautions and adopting some new ones. We ask that you join us in:
— Providing proof of vaccination against COVID-19, via a:
• COVID-19 Digital Certificate uploaded to the Services Victoria app
• COVID-19 Digital Certificate uploaded to your digital 'wallet'
• Official Australian Immunisation Register certificate,
• Printed COVID-19 Vaccination Certificate,
• Medical exemption with a valid, original letter signed and issued by a specified medical practitioner class ID.
— Maintaining physical distancing measures and avoiding close quarters interactions.
— Wearing fitted masks unless exempt.
— Practicing COVID-safe hygiene including making use of the hand sanitiser we will have available.
— Recording your 'check-in' with us via the Service Victoria app — staff will be available to help you.
Unfortunately we will not be able to accept a vaccine appointment card, valid vaccination documentation without proof of ID, or a negative COVID-19 test result in place of the above valid vaccination certifications.
We appreciate your patience as we take these steps to be able to reopen with Fertile Ground. CCP relies on our dedicated volunteer base to be able to offer exhibitions and events to the community, and we appreciate your cooperation in keeping the whole team safe. All CCP staff and volunteers in the gallery will also be fully vaccinated. For more information on government regulations for galleries in Victoria, you can visit this link.
