BOOK LAUNCH AT CCP
Look: Contemporary Australian Photography since 1980 by Anne Marsh
The large-format book showcases the work of 190 individual photographers with over 400 colour plates. The images are grouped together in themes and the critical essays analyse the curatorial and critical issues that have shaped photography over the last 30 years. Eagerly awaited by artists, critics, the art community and their publics, the book is the culmination of a five-year research project assisted by the Australian Research Council and the Australia Council. It is the largest book ever published on Australian contemporary photography and is destined to become one of the most significant surveys of its time.
You are warmly invited to attend the book's launch at the Centre for Contemporary Photography, 404 George St, Fitzroy, on WEDNESDAY 8th DECEMBER at 6.00 pm
